Ghana laid a wreath on behalf of the Commonwealth

Remembrance day ceremony - Belgrade

In connection with activities marking this year’s Remembrance Day, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Belgrade, on Sunday, 11th November, 2007.

Commonwealth Remembrance Day

The programme which commenced at exactly 11:45hrs (c.e.t.) and ended at 12:10 hrs was hosted by the United Kingdom Embassy in Belgrade.

His Excellency, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe laid a wreath on behalf of the Commonwealth, along side those by the representative of the Serbian Government, the Mayor of Belgrade, the President of SUBNOR in Belgrade, and the Ambassadors of Canada, Australia, Poland and Cyprus in remembrance of the fallen war victims.
